Iona takes most everyone - they want your money. Do your homework before you take out a college loan - with high interest rates - to attend Iona. If you are going to spend a lot of money for college, choose a competitive college - and get return for your investment, and make sure you enroll in a college that has extensive job partners for all majors.

Based on my research, Iona takes in 90% plus of applicants that apply. The President and Admissions are concerned about meeting budgets - and money. Iona is concerned about the quantity of students, not the quality of the applicant.

I recommend that students spend a few days on-campus before they commit. Forget about attending Open Houses, and Tours. Spend a day(s) - sit in classes, meet Professors, ask for statistical data on graduation rates, retention rates, etc. When you are visiting, ask students, if they are happy, did they get offered internships, attend the job fairs - do extensive HOME WORK.
Don't just look at the gym and cafeteria - go inside the departments. Remember, "You Can't Judge A Book By Its Cover".
